Hello! my name is Paul Taylor. I am a cybersecurity major at Penn State Berks. Currently, I am in my second year of my bachelors and will continue onto my masters after my future graduation. Upon completing my first year at Penn State, I have successfully made it onto the deans list both Fall and Spring semesters.
This upcoming summer of 2024 I plan gaining more hands on skills by obtaining an internship. Not only do I seek to improve my current standing in the Information Technology / cybersecurity field, I also plan to hone my current skills as a student and a future career professional.
Throughout my time at Penn State, I have learned a wide information about the technology and cybersecurity field. Since enrollment I have completed 54 credits and have achieved status of deans list twice.
During this time, I studied Computer Systems and Telecommunications. From this educational resource provided to me during my highschool years, I introduced myself to college level information technology prior to stepping on campus.
Since starting at Fastenal, I have been fully immersed within a supply chain enviorment that allowed me to gain knowledge on basic fundementals of a business and its counterparts. Being an on-site branch, we were partnered with a gyro stabilization company called Seakeeper.

Shady Maple has taught me the basic principals on treating customers with respect and service, no matter the ask. Working here was a stepping stone for more demanding jobs that were in my future.
